Where do I Start?
The best place to start is with the Self Assessment Questionnaire. You need to have an idea of where you stand in the world of business. Once you understand your capabilities, the next step is to investigate your business. We cannot stress too much the importance of recording information. It is the most valuable thing you will do while you learn. Get into the habit of typing up your thoughts, your ideas, the important things you learn and the things that you have to do. When it comes down to crunch time and you start dealing with investors, partners, suppliers, customers and other organizations, they will ALL want to see written information. Whether it be in the form of a proposal, financial projections, a business card, a flyer or a television ad, it all comes from the things you have documented.
